Floor Care Technician - Full-time job opening at Hanover Hill Health Care in Manchester, NH
The floor care technician position is responsible for providing the highest quality cleaning services to meet the safety and sanitation needs of our residents in our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age. Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day. May be required to lift, push, pull, and move equipment, supplies, etc. Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Floor care attendant job requires a motivated individual to perform routine and non-routine manual work, under general supervision, consisting of cleaning, stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining all floors throughout the facility, in resident living areas and recreational/common areas. The floor care attendant may at times be called upon to assist the housekeeping department with other various light housekeeping duties as may become necessary/appropriate to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner with a focus on creating an upscale environment for the customers we serve. Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., and maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas, must perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
