Full-time cook to prepare and serve food in our 124-bed long-term care facility.
Hanover Hill Health Care Center is now interviewing for a full-time cook to join our Dining Services Department.
This department is responsible for providing the highest quality dining experience to meet the dietary needs of our residents in our upscale, 124 bed long-term care and skilled nursing facility located on a beautiful campus in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and non-professional personnel.

Work Hours | 6am - 2pm M-F and every other weekend. 40 hours per week. |
Experience Requirements | Minimum of 2 year Culinary Degree OR equivalent experience. |

Must be at least 19 years of age. Must possess and maintain a customer-oriented attitude with personnel, residents, family members, government agencies/personnel, and the general public. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when situations warrant such action. Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures as well as related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to hospital and nursing home operations.
Prepare and serve food in accordance with established portion control and sanitary regulations as well as our established policies and procedures. Prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities. Prepare, serve and plate meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance. Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with standardized recipes, special order diets, and planned menus. Assure food and supplies for the next meal are readily available. Maintain food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times.
